Additional Information |
Flame agate is an older agate form Mexico but still worked today. It's name comes form its red plumes and they often associated with green plumes or moss. The amber colored bands are often a point of weakness in the agate, and care must be used in setting if pressure is applied across this band.
Stones cut by author. The bottom stone is a doublet with a translucent backing to add support to the sharp amber band.
