General Info: |
The name apparently comes from the Sinhalese word "Turamali" which was given to mixtures of unidentified gem gravels in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). |
Additional Information |
A native cut tourmaline with shallow pavillion and thus a bit of a fisheye in the center. Overall better than average native cut. Dravite is not commonly used in cut stones a little more of rare tourmaline color. (rare/uncommon not necessarily more valuable.) |
