Additional Information |
The woodward ranch agate is a longtime favorite of many collectors. It is found in south-western Texas not far from Big Bend. It's famous for its plumes with rich red-black coloration. The nodules (called biscuts by the owner) are found thoughout much of the ranch. They are smooth on one side and bumpy on the other, and tend to be somewhat flattened .
