Misc:

Insoluble in acids. It is one one end member of a solid solution where the Iron may be substituted for Manganese. Ferberite (the iron end member) and Heubnerite (MnWO4) is the manganese end member. The material with equal amounts of Fe and Mn is sometimes called Wolframite.
